Angry Birds Trilogy Flying to PS3, Xbox, 3DS

Activision and Rovio are working to bring the Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio trilogy to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo 3DS by December.
Petri Järvilehto, Rovio's executive vice president of games, told IGN that the trilogy can be considered the ultimate collector's edition. The console versions include new cinematics, extras, and other content, while existing features have been re-treated for big-screen, high-resolution TVs.
All three games will be packaged on one disc or 3DS cartridge. While there is no word yet on whether players will receive access to free levels, like iOS and Android players have, Järvilehto did confirm individual leader boards on each level.
More than just being blown up to fit the big screen, the new game's backgrounds have been animated, with the addition of lighting modes, reactive backgrounds, and more, he said.
Angry Birds is already available on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Web browsers, and, as of May, Facebook.
According to IGN's e-shop, the Angry Birds Trilogy game will be released Dec. 31.
Rovio is finally branching out from its world-renowned feather-friends game, and will release its new venture, Amazing Alex, in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on July 12. The company today tweeted the official Amazing Alex trailer in preparation of its Thursday launch.
